Hi, I’m Amanda.
My Story
Therapist. Mom. Wife. Daughter without her parents.
And someone who believes the hardest chapters of our lives don’t have to be the end of the story.
I became a therapist because I have always been drawn to helping people through the moments when life feels complicated, overwhelming, or completely different from what they expected.
But somewhere along the way, this work became deeply personal, too.
I lost my mom after a long journey with early-onset dementia. A few years later, I lost my dad to pancreatic cancer after spending nearly a year helping care for him.
Losing both of my parents changed me.
I learned firsthand that grief doesn't stay neatly contained to the days and weeks immediately following a loss. It can change the way you see yourself, your relationships, your family, and even how safe the world feels.
I also learned that sometimes you don't need another person telling you to "give it time."
You need somewhere you can say, "This is really hard. I don't know what to do next."
And someone who can help you figure out what next might look like.
What I Believe
I believe people are capable of change.
I believe families can find their way back to one another.
I believe grief doesn't have to disappear for life to become meaningful again.
I believe therapy should give you more than a place to talk—it should help you better understand yourself and give you tools you can actually use outside of the therapy room.
And I believe some of the hardest experiences of our lives can become chapters in our stories without becoming the entire story.
My role isn't to tell you how you should feel or what your life should look like.
It's to meet you where you are, help you understand what's keeping you stuck, and give you the tools, support, and space to decide where you want to go from here.
Because ultimately, that's what I'm passionate about:
Helping individuals and families move through the hard stuff—and begin moving forward again.
Whether you're looking for ongoing individual therapy or more focused support through a therapy intensive, you don't have to know exactly what you need before reaching out.
Schedule a free consultation today. We'll talk about what's going on, what you're hoping will change, and what type of support might be the best fit for you.
My Approach to Therapy
My work is grounded in deep empathy, clinical expertise, and evidence-based treatment. While my professional training informs the framework of our work, my commitment to real human connection shapes how I show up in the room with you.
I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling and have supported children, adolescents, adults, and families across school, community, crisis, and clinical settings. Throughout my career, I’ve walked alongside individuals navigating profound grief and loss, anxiety, depression, family crisis, major life transitions, and those complex seasons where life feels overwhelming and you aren't sure where to begin.
I don't believe in squeezing people into rigid treatment boxes. I honor every client’s unique background, identity, relationship structure, and lived experience.
My goal is to understand you—what you’re carrying, how you navigate the world, what’s keeping you stuck, and what true relief and healing look like for your life moving forward.
